In partnership with Sound Mind, LGC created a robust social strategy to promote information and accessibility of 988 specifically in queer communities by creating custom swag, creating evergreen visual assets, and assisting with strategizing additional partnerships and press coverage. LGC also provided strategic guidance for a pre-show IG reel to promote the concert, directing band members to share their personal experiences with mental health and provide 988 resources to their followers.

Activating at the Aces tour stop in Philadelphia provided a valuable opportunity to engage with LGBTQ+ youth, a group particularly vulnerable to 988 risk. To gather qualitative data on the LGBTQ+ community’s relationship with 988, we organized a sweepstakes. Attendees could complete a brief survey about 988 for a chance to win free merch.

This enabled us to monitor key performance indicators (KPI’s) by counting how many attendees scanned the QR code and completed the survey. Additionally we included the authorized social media hashtags #Philly988 and #Aces988 on all posters to track related social media posts.
